JM Mega-Reunion 1….August 4, 2012 was a day when John Marshall High Schoolclassmates, families and friends enjoyed a walk down memory lane. For classmates who cherished the memory of school days at Old John Marshall, this event was a time to renew acquaintances, share stories and once again enjoy the spirit of “Old Jayem”. We found no better way to revive that spirit than to enjoy the Cadet Alumni Band playing the old school songs. Anyone who attended Old Jayem or had an interest in the old school was welcome to attend. Cost per person was $30. Dress was summer casual.
August 5, 2012 Update, After The Reunion...

It appears that we had about 1600 in attendance. For many, it was the first time they had seen some of their closest friends and classmates in over 60 years.  Those at the reunion had attended Old Jayem at some point between 1923 and 1960.  (Yes, that is correct, Tommy Austin started out at JM around 1923 and graduated in 1925.)  Our time at Old Jayem and this special day of celebration, will be remembered for the rest of our lives!
